The problem with launching different versions of Minecraft

Solution methods:

1) Completely clear the folder .minecraft (In order not to lose worlds, save the Saves folder) and re-install the launcher. This method helps in 90% of all cases. Also, if you are doing a clean installation, do not remove the check mark from the Java installation in our installer, this will help avoid Java-related errors.

2) You need to go to .minecraft or to the directory where you have minecraft installed (Next to the "Play" button there is a daddy icon (to the right of the button) you need to click on it). (If there is an antivirus program, disable it while downloading versions) Next, close the launcher and delete the 2 libraries and versions folders. After that, launch the launcher and install the versions you need. If the error remains, let us know!
