Continuum Shaders - Shaders for Minecraft

 

Since the shader package Continuum is based on the original package SEUS, players who have used the latter will see some similarities in them. With realistic clouds, a gradient of color and light across the sky, and realistic shadows that move with the sun, most of the lighting effects here are top notch. However, there is only one small problem that is not really a problem. To get full functionality from Continuum Shaderpack, you need to install and run Shaders Mod on your PC in advance. This mod from karyonix is an integral part, thanks to which many high-end shaders work.

 

 

As for the requirements, this is not one of those Lite shader mods that will work with embedded graphics. Unless you're using a powerful GPU, you should probably stay away from the Continuum shader package. Even the 980TI video card received only an average of 30-40 frames per second when running Minecraft with 1080p resolution at maximum graphics settings with the shader package installed. Weaker graphics cards give less impressive results.

 

Fortunately, there is a lightweight version of Continuum Shaderpack, which allows owners of weaker PCs to enjoy wonderful lighting and shadow effects.

 

 

Since Continuum shaders for Minecraft will not work even with maps of the 500 series or lower, even players with a mid-level PC may encounter some problems when trying to use them. It's a shame when something that looks so good is so hard to access, but that's the price you have to pay for getting great lighting and shading effects in Minecraft.

 

Better graphics tend to require more resources, and this package definitely does that. If your PC is powerful enough, this package is definitely recommended.

 

Shaders are suitable for Minecraft version 1.12.2. You also need to install OptiFine.
