DrDestens MCShaders - Shaders for Minecraft
Like other Minecraft shaders, Dresden shaders generally improve the graphics and lighting system in the game. They also include some important features of basic shaders, such as reflection, bloom effect, environmental occlusion, depth of field, motion blur, TTA and more!
DrDestens shaders are relatively new shaders that add realistic effects to Minecraft while maintaining playable fps. The shader package achieves this by eliminating shadows entirely.
This shader package will work great on medium and high-level systems, but still belongs more to a high-level package. It includes a number of features such as water effects with reflections, depth of field, ambient shading, and even texture pack support. Texture pack support allows you to get super realistic textures in Minecraft using texture packs such as HardTop Vanillaccurate or Brixel.
By default, it will also add a white outline to nearby foliage, as well as bright divine rays. Some options that you can manually enable include anti-aliasing, blurring, and other camera effects.
Since there are no shadows in the shader package, it works exceptionally well for a shader with so many features. The creator of the package, DrDesten, says that in the future he will not include shadows in the package because it is not worth the performance penalty.
So even though you won't see any shadows in Minecraft when using DrDestens McShaders, you'll still get a great set of shaders with a bunch of features and a bright blue sky! Since DrDestens 1.19 shaders are still a relatively new shader package, we can expect shader performance to improve significantly with future updates.
