List of changes to the datapack «Update 1.20»:

● Item "Forging template" has been added.

- Used to improve items on the blacksmith's table.

To create a copy, combine 7 diamonds on the workbench, the template and the material from which it is made. So you will get 2 identical templates.

 

● The blacksmith's table has been redesigned.

- Now you can improve and modify the player's equipment in the table

- Added a mandatory slot for the forging template

- The template determines how the armor will be changed: it determines what type of item can be improved and what ingredients can be used.

So far there are 2 categories of templates: armor finishing and non-armor improvement.

 

● Customization (finishing) of armor.

- Now you can decorate your armor with forging templates, except for leather

Does not give advantages in the game

Decorations are visible on the armor icon, but you can also find out the type of jewelry by hovering the cursor over the item

Forge templates are scattered all over the world, each structure from the list below has its own template:

- Robbers' outpost - "Clock pattern"

- Desert pyramid - "dune template"

- Sunken ship - "Coastal template"

- Jungle Temple - "Wild template"

- Marine monument - "Tide pattern"

- Ancient city - "amulet template"

- Forest mansion - "Pest template"

- Nezer Fortress - "Edge pattern"

- Bastion ruins - "Bow pattern"

- End Fortress - "Eye template"

- End City - «Spire template»

- All forging templates can be found in the chests of these structures, except for the marine monument - the template of this structure can rarely fall out of the ancient guardian after death

- Any ore is needed to decorate the armor

Armor cannot be decorated with the same material from which it is made

 

● Non-cerite equipment.

- Now for crafting you need to use a blacksmith template with a non-cerite improvement.

Can be found in the chests of the ruins of the bastion: 2 templates will be guaranteed in the chests of the treasury.

Such a change was made so that the player used diamond armor longer, the nezerite became more valuable, and was suitable for the new blacksmith table system

● The glitter of charms on objects has become softer

● Fixed 4 bugs:

Explosion resistance now reduces the bounce from explosions at low enchantment levels

Fixed a visual bug in the welcome window when you first log in to the game

All goat horns no longer play the same sound "Reflection"

Now you can interact with incompatible resource packs in the resource pack selection window using the keyboard
