How to replace the texture of any block in Minecraft

 

This article presents a guide for replacing the texture of any block in Minecraft. You can replace the block texture with any picture.

 

The first thing we need is to download some texture pack. For example, take Faithful Ultimate. Place the archive in the resoucrepacks folder.

 

 

We will also need the WinRAR program to work with the archive, as well as Paint.

 

Next, we take the desired image in the format .png . Resize it to Paint. Let it be 16 by 16.

 

 

Let's start replacing the texture. We will work with hewn oak wood. Opening our archive with textures using WinRAR:

 

 

We go this way:

assets - minecraft - textures - block

 

We will need images stripped_oak_log.png and stripped_oak_log_top.png.

 

Open the picture, click PCM, open with - Paint.

 

 

Select the entire image and "cut" it using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + X .

 

 

Next, insert our picture:

 

 

Saving changes:

 

 

 

Go into the game and apply our texture pack, enjoy the result ;)
